Do not leave the power cable hanging over table edges to
prevent the appliance from being pulled down or knocked
over. Make sure that neither the appliance nor the power
cord or plug comes into contact with hot surfaces, such as
hotplates or a radiator, or that they come into contact with
the appliance itself.
•
Never reach for an appliance that has fallen into water or
other liquids:
– Always wear dry rubber gloves to unplug the appliance
before taking it out of the water.
– Do not start using the appliance again before having it
checked for functionality and safety by Solis or a service
center authorized by Solis.

Unplug the appliance before moving it.

Children must be supervised to ensure that they not play
with the appliance.
•
Do not use the appliance when it is empty. Always fill the
kettle with a minimum 0.5 litres and a maximum of 1.8 litres
water. Do not switch on the appliance when it is empty or
the kettle is filled less than the minimum. This can damage
the appliance.
•
Do not fill the appliance with more than 1.8 litres of water.
Boiling water can overflow out of the appliance when the
appliance is too full.
•
Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.

Do not open the lid while the water in the kettle is boiling.
•
Be careful when moving the kettle with hot water. Avoid
spillage.
•
Avoid spillage on the power connector.
•
Be careful when opening the lid, hot steam may escape.
•
Do not move the complete appliance when:
– it contains hot water. Only move the kettle.
– when the water is still boiling.
•
Be careful when pouring out hot water. Do not tilt the kettle
too fast.
•
When the kettle is not cooled down, only touch the handle.
•
Do not touch the cover of the heating element during or
shortly after use. The heating element may be subject to
residual heat.
•
Only fill the kettle with cold and fresh water and with no
other liquids or additives.

Always unplug the appliance when not in use.

Unplug the appliance before maintenance and cleaning.

Do not try to open or repair the appliance. It must be
serviced by Solis or by a service agent authorized by Solis.

Let the appliance cool down before cleaning.

Never immerse the appliance in water or place it in a
dishwasher.
