Overview
The BKNW-26 is an optional board for the DNW-
A220/A25 series Betacam SX Digital Videocassette
Recorder. It enables playback pictures with an aspect
ratio of 16:9 to be output to the recorder's LCD
monitor.
Operating Instructions
Refer to the following revisions of the DNW-A220/
A25 series operation manual (English):
DNW-A220/A220P: 1st Edition
DNW-A25/A25P: 1st Edition
However, make the following changes to the operation
manuals.

The function of switch 6 in the following figure will
be changed.
a) Paste the "WIDE" sticker supplied with the BKNW-26 so that
it covers indication "LIGHT" on the panel.

6 WIDE (aspect ratio selection) switch
Set this switch to ON or OFF according to the aspect
ratio of video signals to be displayed on the LCD
monitor.
ON: Use this setting when playing back cassette tapes
recorded with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and when
inputting signals with an aspect ratio of 16:9 to this
unit.
OFF: Use this setting when playing back cassette tapes
recorded with an aspect ratio of 4:3 and when inputting
signals with an aspect ratio of 4:3 to this unit.
