Information
This manual describes how to install and maintain your
Royal Filtermist unit. Please read all instructions carefully
before commencing any installation or maintenance
work.
W A R N I N G !
1. The unit must be isolated from the electrical
supply before commencing work on the machine.
2. The unit must not be operated without the case
guard fitted.
3. Sufficient time must be allowed for the inner
drum to stop rotating before the case guard is
removed.
4. No attempt must be made to insert hands/
objects through the foam silencer.
5. Safety bolts on the case clips must be fitted at
all times.
6. Oil leaks can be a hazard. The complete Royal
Filtermist system should be checked regularly for
possible oil leaks. Daily visual checks of both unit
and extraction duct are recommended.
INSTALLATION
All FX900/1200 models can be supplied with either 4 eyebolts
that are located into the equally spaced bushes around the
upper part of the case. The centres are on 15 3/4" P .C.D. Or the
units can be supplied with a direct mount kit including M8
fasteners and collar seal.

The unit may be directly mounted
and secured by 4 hexagonal
fasteners inserted into the 4 x M8
bushes in the base of the unit.
1.1 Ensure that the machine
guard can support the
weight of the unit. (See
Fig. 5)
1.2 Cut inlet hole (see Fig. 5)
and around this drill 4 x
holes on 10 / " P .C.D.

1.3 Fit foam collar seal around
inlet spigot, position unit
and secure.

2.1 Ensure machine guard can support weight of unit
(see Fig. 5). Cut hole in guard (see Fig. 5). Around this
drill 4 x / " holes on a 9

2.2 Secure unit in place via the M8 hexagon fasteners
inserted into the 4 x M8 bushes at the base of the unit.
Ensure collar seal is fitted between the machine guard
and unit inlet spigot.
Floor Stand Mounted

3.1 Position unit in top half of adjustable floor stand (Fig. 3)
and secure with M8 bolts, washers and nuts provided.
3.2 Connect unit inlet to machine using oil resistant ducting
and suitable flanged adaptor (available from your unit
supplier).
3.3 Bolt stand to floor and adjust height to suit, ensuring no
'U' bends in ducting.
