Tuning Button 1 (4) to a TV Station in the
VHF Band Ill (e.g. Channel 6)
— Press station selection button 1 @) in.
— Press and turn the corresponding band
selection and tuning button 41) for the
Station button until the band indicator 42
next to it indicates III.
— Turn button 41 without applying pressure
until the picture of the required VHF sta-
tion appears on the screen and is sharp
and steady.
— The small scales (9 may be used as an
aid to tuning.
Tuning Button 2 @) to a TV Station in the
UHF Band (e.g. channel 59)
— Press station selection button 2 (@) in.
— Press and turn the corresponding band
selection and tuning button 41) for the
station selection button until the indicator
(2 next to it indicates U.
— Turn button 41) without applying pressure
until the picture of the required UHF
Station appears on the screen and is
sharp and steady.
(Channel 59 is near the upper end of the
scale (10).
When all stations are tuned, the AFC must
be switched on again (press switch (8) and
turn it to the right).
