1. Consignes de sécurité et avertissements
• L'installation, l'utilisation et la maintenance doivent être confiées à un personnel spécialisé dûment qualifié
en électrotechnique. Respecter les instructions d'installation. Lors de l'exécution et de l'exploitation,
respecter les dispositions et normes de sécurité en vigueur (ainsi que les normes de sécurité nationales) de
même que les règles généralement reconnues relatives à la technique. Les caractéristiques relatives à la
sécurité se trouvent dans ces instructions et les certificats joints (attestation de conformité, autres
homologations éventuelles).
• Le montage doit être réalisé conformément aux instructions contenues dans le manuel d'utilisation. Toute
intervention sur les circuits électriques internes de l'appareil est interdite.
• Cet appareil ne requiert aucun entretien. Seul le fabricant est habilité à effectuer des réparations.
• L'appareil est conçu pour être utilisé exclusivement avec une très basse tension de sécurité (SELV)
conformément à CEI 60950/EN 60950/VDE 0805. Il ne peut être raccordé que sur des appareils répondant
aux exigences de la norme EN 60950.
IMPORTANT : une erreur de câblage peut provoquer des dommages matériels
Raccorder les ports RJ45 Ethernet des appareils uniquement à des installations de réseau adaptées.
Certains des raccordements de signalisation à distance utilisent eux aussi des connecteurs femelles
RJ45, qui ne doivent en aucun cas être raccordés aux raccords RJ45 de l'appareil.
Le raccordement d'un modem ou d'un terminal sériel demande un câble null modem de longueur
maximum 10 m.
IMPORTANT : Les émissions de bruit peuvent provoquer des dommages matériels
Il s'agit d'un équipement de classe A. Cet équipement peut générer des perturbations parasites dans un
environnement domestique ; dans ce cas, l'exploitant peut être amené à mettre en œuvre des mesures
appropriées.

Le TC MGUARD RS4000 4G VPN est un routeur industriel de téléphonie mobile 4G (LTE) avec repli 3G et
GPRS, pare-feu intégré, VPN et entrées et sorties d'alarme.

4. Montage ()
IMPORTANT : décharge électrostatique
Observer les mesures de précaution nécessaires lors du maniement des composants sensibles aux
décharges électrostatiques (EN 61340-5-1, CEI 61340-5-1).
IMPORTANT : Endommagement de l'appareil
Ne monter et ne démonter les appareils que lorsqu'ils sont hors tension !
• Encliqueter l'appareil sur un profilé EN 60715 de 35 mm.
• Raccorder le profilé à la terre de protection.
5. Tension alimentation ()
IMPORTANT : Endommagement de l'appareil
L'appareil est conçu pour être utilisé exclusivement avec une très basse tension de sécurité (SELV)
conformément à CEI 60950/EN 60950/VDE 0805.
– Utiliser uniquement des appareils à tension de sortie limitée (U  36 V DC) et courant de sortie limité
(I  2,8 A) pour la source de tension externe.
• Raccorder la tension d'alimentation sur la borne à vis enfichable (X4) à 24 V (+) et 0 V (-). Respecter la
polarité.
• Le modem est disponible dès que la LED « Power » s'allume.
6. Raccordement de l'antenne ()
• Raccorder deux antennes appropriées aux raccords d'antenne pour obtenir la meilleure réception LTE
possible.
• La longueur du câble d'antenne ne doit pas dépasser 5 mètres.
• Quand l'affichage LED en barres indique une très bonne réception, fixer l'antenne.
7. Raccordement Ethernet
• L'interface Ethernet RJ45 peut accueillir uniquement des câbles à paires torsadées d'une impédance de
100 Ω.
• Utiliser exclusivement des câbles à paires torsadées blindés et des connecteurs RJ45 blindés
correspondants.
• Enficher le câble Ethernet avec le connecteur RJ45 dans l'interface TP jusqu'à ce que l'encliquetage soit
audible. Tenir compte du détrompage du connecteur.

1. Safety notes and warning instructions
• Installation, operation, and maintenance may only be carried out by qualified electricians. Follow the
installation instructions as described. When installing and operating the device, the applicable regulations
and safety directives (including national safety directives), as well as generally approved technical
regulations, must be observed. The safety data is provided in this package slip and on the certificates
(conformity assessment, additional approvals where applicable).
• Installation should be carried out according to the instructions provided in the operating instructions. Access
to circuits within the device is not permitted.
• The device does not require maintenance. Repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer.
• The device is only intended for operation in the control cabinet and with SELV according to IEC 60950/
EN 60950/VDE 0805. The device may only be connected to devices, which meet the requirements of
EN 60950.
NOTE: risk of material damage due to incorrect wiring
Only connect the RJ45 Ethernet ports of the device to matching network installations. Some
telecommunications connections also use RJ45 sockets. You may not connect these to the RJ45 ports
of the device.
For connecting a modem or serial terminal you will need a null modem cable not exceeding 10 m in
length.

and the operator may be required to take appropriate measures.

integrated firewall, VPN and alarm inputs and outputs.

4. Mounting ()
NOTE: electrostatic discharge!
Observe the necessary safety precautions when handling components that are vulnerable to
electrostatic discharge (EN 61340-5-1 and IEC 61340-5-1).
NOTE: device damage
Only mount and remove devices when the power supply is disconnected.
• Snap the device onto a 35 mm DIN rail according to EN 60715.
• Connect the DIN rail to the protective earth ground.
5. Supply voltage ()
NOTE: device damage
The device is only intended for operation with SELV according to IEC 60950/EN 60950/VDE 0805.
– Only use devices with limited output voltage (U  36 V DC) and limited output current (I  2.8 A) as the
external voltage source.
• Connect the supply voltage to the plug-in screw terminal (X4) to 24 V and 0 V. Ensure the correct polarity.
• The device is ready for operation as soon as the power LED lights up.
6. Connect the antenna ()
• To achieve optimal LTE reception, connect two suitable antennas to the antenna connections.
• The antenna cable must not be longer than 5 meters.
• If the bar graph indicates good or very good reception, affix the antenna.
7. Connecting Ethernet
• Only twisted pair cables with an impedance of 100 Ω can be connected to the RJ45 Ethernet interface.
• Only use shielded twisted pair cables and matching shielded RJ45 connectors.
• Insert the Ethernet cable with the RJ45 plug into the TP interface until the plug engages audibly. Observe
the plug keying.

durchzuführen. Befolgen Sie die beschriebenen Installationsanweisungen. Halten Sie die für das Errichten

• Der Einbau hat gemäß den in der Einbauanweisung beschriebenen Anweisungen zu erfolgen. Ein Zugriff
auf die Stromkreise im Inneren des Geräts ist nicht zugelassen.
• Das Gerät ist wartungsfrei. Reparaturen sind nur durch den Hersteller durchführbar.
• Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für den Betrieb im Schaltschrank und mit Sicherheitskleinspannung (SELV)
nach IEC 60950/EN 60950/VDE 0805 ausgelegt. Das Gerät darf nur an Geräte angeschlossen werden, die
die Bedingungen der EN 60950 erfüllen.
ACHTUNG: Sachschaden durch falsche Beschaltung
Schließen Sie die RJ45-Ethernet-Ports der Geräte nur an passende Netzwerk-Installationen an. Einige
Fernmeldeanschlüsse verwenden ebenfalls RJ45-Buchsen. Diese dürfen Sie nicht mit den RJ45-
Anschlüssen des Geräts verbinden.
Für den Anschluss eines Modems oder eines seriellen Terminals benötigen Sie ein Nullmodem-Kabel,
dessen Länge 10 m nicht überschreiten darf.
ACHTUNG: Gefahr von Sachschäden durch Störaussendungen
Dies ist eine Einrichtung der Klasse A. Diese Einrichtung kann im Wohnbereich Funkstörungen

4. Montage ()
ACHTUNG: Elektrostatische Entladung!
Beachten Sie die notwendigen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen bei der Handhabung elektrostatisch gefährdeter
Bauelemente (EN 61340-5-1 und IEC 61340-5-1)!
ACHTUNG: Gerätebeschädigung
Montieren und demontieren Sie die Geräte nur im spannungsfreien Zustand!
• Rasten Sie das Gerät auf eine 35-mm-Tragschiene nach EN 60715.
• Verbinden Sie die Tragschiene mit der Schutzerde.
5. Versorgungsspannung ()
ACHTUNG: Gerätebeschädigung
Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für den Betrieb mit Sicherheitskleinspannung (SELV) nach IEC 60950/
EN 60950/VDE 0805 ausgelegt.
– Verwenden Sie als externe Spannungsquelle nur Geräte mit begrenzter Ausgangsspannung (U  36 V DC)
und begrenztem Ausgangsstrom (I  2,8 A).
• Schließen Sie die Versorgungsspannung an der steckbaren Schraubklemme (X4) an 24 V und 0 V an.
Beachten Sie dabei die Polarität.
• Sobald die Power-LED leuchtet, ist das Gerät betriebsbereit.
6. Antenne anschließen ()
• Um einen optimalen LTE-Empfang zu erreichen, schließen Sie zwei geeignete Antennen an die
Antennenanschlüsse an.
• Das Antennenkabel darf maximal 5 Meter lang sein.
• Wenn der Bargraph einen guten oder sehr guten Empfang anzeigt, fixieren Sie die Antenne.
7. Ethernet anschließen
• An die RJ45-Ethernet-Schnittstelle können Sie ausschließlich Twisted-Pair-Leitungen mit einer Impedanz
von 100 Ω anschließen.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich geschirmte Twisted-Pair-Kabel und passende abgeschirmte RJ45-Stecker.
• Stecken Sie die Ethernet-Leitung mit dem RJ45-Stecker in die TP-Schnittstelle, bis der Stecker hörbar
verrastet. Achten Sie dabei auf die Kodierung des Steckers.
