8. Guarantee
A legal warranty period of twelve months from the date of purchase/
date of invoice applies to our tools for commercial customers.
Claims
If you wish to claim under warranty, please return the complete
device and your invoice to our logistics centre in Berka, postage
paid, or send it to one of our authorised service centres. We
request that you contact us beforehand by calling our free STORCH
service hotline on 0800 7 86 72 47.
Warranty entitlement
Claims can only be accepted for material defects or manufacturing
errors, and only assuming proper use of the device. Wear and tear
parts are not covered by warranty rights. All claims are voided in the
event of installation of third party components, improper handling
and storage, as well as in the event of obvious disregard of the
operating instructions.
Performing repairs
All repairs must be conducted on our premises or by an authorised
STORCH service centre.
9. Disposal
Manufacturer's disclosure pursuant to section 18 Para. 4 ElektroG:
The Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) stipulates
a large number of requirements for the handling of electrical and
electronic equipment. The most important of these are summarised
here.
1. Separate disposal of end-of-life devices
Electrical and electronic devices which have become waste are desi-
gnated end-of-life devices. Owners of end-of-life devices must dispo-
se of them separately from unsorted domestic waste. In particular,
end-of-life devices do not belong in the household waste containers
in special collection and return systems.
2. Batteries, rechargeable batteries and lamps
Owners of end-of-life devices must typically remove used batteries
and used rechargeable batteries which are not encapsulated by the
end-of-life device, and lamps which can be removed from the end-
of-life device without destroying them, from the end-of-life device
