Hazard information
according to VDE 0100 and HD382 or 60364 must be observed. The
circuit breaker must be easily accessible to the user and marked as
the disconnecting device for the actuator.
Before the actuator is connected, remove the fuse from the fuse
box.
Except for configuration, the device may only be operated with an
associated switch cover.
The device has not been designed to support safety disconnection.
The lowest dimming level that can be selected must be set so that
the connected lamp still visibly lights up in this mode. The lowest
dimming level is preset at a value of 10 % (reference value for a 25W
light bulb). If you use light bulbs with different outputs or none (but
rather LED lamps, for example), it may be necessary to alter the pa-
rameters accordingly. A precise description on how to alter the set-
tings can be found in the HmIP Wired system manual or the WebUI
manual.
In order to avoid changes in the level of brightness, the device is able
to detect ripple control signals. However, short-time flickering of
the light source due to ripple control signals cannot be completely
excluded.
The dimming behaviour of LED lamps is not usually that of a normal
light bulb and depends on many manufacturer-specific factors, such
as:
• Design
• Performance
• Number of LEP lamps connected
• Product year/product batch
These factors may, among other things, result in flickering at certain
dimming levels and/or a non-linear dimming process.
