2. Safety precautions
− Read this manual carefully so that you understand and are able to follow all safety
instructions and instructions for use before starting to use the machine.
− Persons below the age of 18 should not use the machine.
− Follow all safety instructions when using the machine. Read the manual carefully
before starting the machine. Make sure, that you are able to immediately stop and
turn off the engine in case of accidents. All instructions regarding safety and
maintenance of the machine are for your own safety.
− Use only original spare parts recommended by Texas. Mounting of non-approved
parts may increase risk of defects and therefore is not allowed. Any liability is
renounced by accident or damage that is caused by mounting non-approved parts.
− Before using the machine the dealer or any other trained person should instruct the
user in the correct use and maintenance of the machine.
− The person using the machine is responsible for other persons in the work area.
Never use the machine when children or animals are close.
− Persons who know how to use it must only use the machine. The manual should at
all times be with the machine.
− The machine should only be used by persons who are rested, feel well and fit. If
the work is tiring, frequent breaks should be held. Do not use the machine when
you have been drinking alcohol.
− Factory-mounted control units, like the clutch cable must not be removed.
− Never use the machine on a slope due to the risk of the machine tilting and the
user getting stuck under the machine.
− Never use the machine in reverse while at the same time applying full speed. The
machine will move quickly and this may lead to the user stumbling and being run
over.
− All bolts and nuts must be tightened after use, especially those that attach the
accessories - in this case boom and wheel.
