Use
WARNING of risk of injury
− Place the mains adaptor cable in a suitable area, so that it does not
pose a tripping hazard.
As soon as the Neptun fountain is supplied with electricity, pump starts the flow of
water. Once the water being to flow out of the nozzle, your pet may then drink from it.
Pay attention to the following:
‚ Do not leave the Neptun fountain unsupervised for an extended period of time.
Even if your animal does not drink any of it, the filled water evaporates. The pump
must not run dry.
‚ When the pump suddenly becomes noisy, it is an indication that it is likely to run
dry. In such cases, please disconnect the fountain by pulling the adaptor out of the
socket and refill the water in the fountain immediately.
‚ Always remove dirt such as hair directly from the bowl.
‚ The Neptun fountain can of course also be used as a pure drinker without a power
connection.
‚ Switch the Neptun fountain off again by pulling the mains adaptor out of the
socket.

Cleaning

Electric shock HAZARD
− The mains adaptor cable or mains adaptor plug must not come into
contact with liquids or be immersed in water or other liquids.
NOTE on material damage
− Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents, abrasives, hard
sponges or similar for cleaning. This could damage the surface.
− Before cleaning, pull the mains adaptor out of the socket and the small plug out of
the socket in the Neptun fountain.

General

1. You can clean the bowl 1, connector 4 and nozzles 3 in mild dishwashing water.
Then rinse with clear water and dry thoroughly.
2. Clean the water tank 2 from the inside and outside with a soft, damp cloth. Use
a mild detergent, if necessary. In this case, wipe with a cloth and clean with clear
water to remove any detergent residue.
