b) Kontrollsystem
Das JN CBS ist ein Kontrollsystem für 4 oder 5 Lei-
nen Kites. Beim Kauf wird das Control Bar System
im Standardsetup geliefert.
Das JN CBS System ermöglicht dem Fahrer, den
Zug des Kite interaktiv zu verändern, wenn er sich
in den Depowerloop mit dem Trapez einhängt. Der
Fahrer kann die Bar einfach vom Körper wegschie-
ben, um die Zugkraft des Kites zu reduzieren. Du
kannst die Zugkraft des Kites mit dem Depower
Adjuster genau einstellen. Dein Kite sollte so
eingestellt sein, dass die Kite Tips (Ohren) parallel
stehen wenn die Bar zum Körper ganz herangezo-
gen wird (full power)
Überprüfe die Leinenlängen Deines komplett zu-
sammengebauten CBS vor dem Starten des Kites.
1. Schlinge eine kurze Hilfsleine (oder eine
Schnur) um einen Pfahl (Baum oder Zaun-
pfahl).
2. Mache einen Knoten in die Hilfsleine und achte
dabei, dass die zwei Enden gleich lang sind.
3. Mache an den Enden jeweils einen Knoten.
4. Lege deine Bar in etwa 25m Entfernung ab.
5. Breite die Leader Lines in Richtung des Pfahls
aus und gehe dabei sicher, dass zwischen dir
und dem Pfahl keine Hindernisse sind.
6. Lege die mit Farben gekennzeichneten Steuer-
leinen zwischen die Bar und den Pfahl.
7. Mach die beiden roten Leinen am linken Ende
der Hilfsleine am Pfahle fest.
8. Mach die beiden schwarzen Leinen am rechten
Ende der Hilfsleine am Pfahle fest.
9. Gehe zurück zur Bar.
10. Überprüfe, ob der Depower Adjuster lang ist,
so dass der Kite unter maximaler Zugkraft
stehen würde.
11. Stehe genau in der Richtung des Befestigungs-
pfahles und erhöhe den Zug auf die Bar, die du
zu dir hin ziehst. Mache das ein paar Mal, um
sicherzugehen, dass die Knoten, die du eben
gemacht hast auch halten.
12. Ziehe nun ein paar Mal fest und gleichmäßig
an der Bar.
13. Deine Bar sollte mit deinen Schultern auf glei-
cher Linie sein und keinen Winkel bilden.
14. Du wirst merken, dass auf allen Leinen die
gleiche Kraft liegt und weder die Depowerlei-
nen (Mittelleinen) noch die Steuerleinen schlaff
sind.
15. Wenn deine Bar in der richtigen Stellung ist,
kann dein Prima Donna CBS am aufgeblase-
nen Kite festgemacht werden.
16. Ist die Bar nicht in der richtigen Stellung, folge
den untenstehenden Anweisungen:

b) Control System
The JN CBS is a control system for 4 or 5-LINE Ki-
tes. At purchase, the Control Bar system is assem-
bled as CBS standard set up. The JN CBS allows
the rider to interactively change the power of the
Kite when hooked with the harness to the Depower
Loop. When hooked into the Depower Loop, the
rider can simply push the control bar away from
the body to reduce the power of the Kite. You can
fi ne tune the power of the Kite with the Depower
Adjuster. Your Kite should be tuned so that the Kite
is fully sheeted in (but not over-sheeted). The Kite
tips are in a parallel position when you pull the bar
toward your body (full power).
Check the length of your lines when your CBS is
fully assembled.
1. Tie a piece of line or rope around a tree or fence
post.
2. Tie a knot, leaving 2 ends of equal length.
3. Tie a knot at the base of each line end.
4. Set your control bars about 25 meters away.
5. Lay out the leader lines towards the tree or post.
Make sure there are no obstructions in between
your bar and the tree or post.
6. Unwind and lay out the colour-coded steering
lines between the control bar and the post.
7. Attach the two red lines to the left rope end on
the tree or post.
8. Attach the two black lines to the right rope end
on the tree or post.
9. Walk back to the control bar.
10. Make sure that the Depower Adjuster is ex
tended, so that the Kite is set up at full power.
11. Standing directly in line with the post or tree,
increase pressure on the control bar by pulling
straight back toward yourself. Do this a few
times to tighten the knots you have just made.
12. Now pull back hard and steady on the control
bar several times.
13. Your control bar should be in line with your
shoulders and should be straight and not at an
angle.
14. You will fi nd that all the lines should have even
tension under pressure, i.e. no slack in the
depower (middle) lines or steering lines.
15. If your control bar is checked, your Prima Don-
na Control Bar System is ready to be attached
to your infl ated Kite.
16. If your control lines are not leveled, follow the
instructions below:
