4. Cleaning and preparation for reuse
1. Dismantling the equipment:
Remove both restraint frames from the base plate, and the base plate from
the rescue board. Dispose of all restraint frame padding, head straps and
base plate padding contaminated with body fluid.
The base plate and restraint frames can be reused after they have been ap-
propriately cleaned.
2. Brushing or immersing in disinfectant:
Brush all parts with a warm water and dish-washing liquid solution for 4 minutes
or immerse them in disinfectant (at 38°C with a concentration of 0.5%).
3. Rinsing and drying:
Rinse all parts with clean, warm (38°C) water and leave everything to air-dry
completely at room temperature.
4. Attaching the padding:
If required, attach spare padding and straps.
5. Reattaching the base plate:
Reattach the base plate to the rescue board and store the restraint frames.
5. Limited warranty
ultraMEDIC grants the purchaser of this product a warranty period of 1 year following
the date of purchase on any material and manufacturing errors. Any dispatch and
processing costs are borne by the purchaser.
This limited warranty only applies if the product is stored, transported, used and main-
tained in accordance with the instructions contained in the operating instructions.
ultraMEDIC cannot be held liable, neither within the scope of this limited warranty,
nor in any other way for any damages, consequential damages, economic losses or
material damages of any kind.
This limited warranty does not refer to normal wear and tear or to discolouration and
other cosmetic irregularities, which do not pose an influence on the efficiency of the
product.
