Operation
Fan after-run
The system has a follow-up / after- run function, which should ensure that any existing odours and steam
can be extracted. After completing the cooking process and switching off the hob, the fan continues to run.
There is an automatic after- run of 5 minutes on level 1.
Notes:
• The fan after- run is indicated by a pulsating dot in the fan power setting display.
• The fan speed can also be changed in the after run. After-run ends immediately if 0 is selected.
Fan timer
There is the possibility to set a fan timer analogue to the cooking zone
timer. The timer is displayed on the timer display. The fan timer does not
start to run until the cooking process has finished.
1. Precondition: Fan is active.
2. Select the fan power setting display. Timer indication displays shows"- -
-" Press the timer displays.
3. Then use the Plus key or the Minus key required time. The timer
symbol of the fan lights up.
Notes:
The following situations can occur.
Situation1
Fan level set, fan timer set, all cooking zones are switched off Hob remains on; fan level remains active
for timer time. Then the hob switches off completely.
Situation2
Fan level set, timer set; hob switched off via ON/OFF key After-run level 1 is set and remains active for the
timer setting time.
Then the hob switches off completely.
Timer can be set as soon as the fan is running and starts to run as soon as all cooking zones are off.
Grease and carbon filter state indication
The hob touch control includes a filter timer that reminds that is
important to clean the hood's grease and carbon filter on a regular basis.
The filter rin time is always counted when the fan is running -
even during the after-run. After the time has elapsed a flashing
F (for the grease filter) or a C (for the carbon filter) is displayed on the fan power setting display.
During the after-run the F or C are not shown. They pop up again when the hob is switched on. The filter
display can either be acknowledged or reset:
• Short press on fan power setting display means acknowledgment. Display appears only after switching
the hob off and on again.
• Long press for 3 sec causes time reset. A confirmation tone will appear and the F or C symbols will be
displayed statically for 2 sec before the standard display returns.
