Short-circuit protection
The charger switches off automatically in the event of a
short circuit, cross-circuit or reversed polarity.
Undervoltage release
If an inserted battery has low voltage (≤ 2.9V), low volta-
ge is detected and the battery is prepared for charging.
Charging function and overcharge protection
» The charging function starts at a battery voltage of
< 4.18V.
» When the battery is charged, the overcharge protection
is activated and the charging process is stopped.
» If the battery voltage drops below 4.0V after a longer
resting time in the charger, the charging function starts
again.
» If the batteries have been in the charger for longer than
