enable you to use your Coleman
correctly and in complete safety.

yourself with the stove prior to assembling
the gas container.

Remove the stove from its packaging. Check
part name of stove in below list. (Fig. 1, 3 and 12)

B-2 INSTALL THE CARTRIDGE
(When the existing cartridge is empty, read
paragraph E: "Removing the cartridge")
To install or remove a cartridge, always
work in a well-ventilated area, preferably
outside and never in the presence of a flame,
heat source or spark (lit cigarette, electrical
equipment, etc.) at a good distance from other
people and flammable material.

1. Check that the Stove O-ring seal (1) is in good
condition and properly positioned (Fig. 1).
Check this every time you install a cartridge.
If the O-ring is damaged or worn, return the
stove to your retailer, who will replace the seal.
2. Unfold wire valve handle and confirm the fuel
valve is turned off by rotating clockwise. (Fig. 2)
3. Place the stove upright on the top of the
cartridge, as shown in Fig. 3. Gently screw
the stove onto the cartridge. Check that the
assembly threads are properly engaged.
Only tighten by hand. Excessive force could
damage the threads on the cartridge.
4. Gently slide the lock nut up towards the
burner, deploying the pan supports. (Fig. 4
& 5) Rotate the lock nut counter clockwise
to lock position once pan supports are fully
deployed (Fig. 6).
5. The stove is now ready to operate.
In case of leakage (gas smell before opening
the valve), put immediately the stove outside,
in a well-ventilated area, without inflammation
