Owner's manual
• If the object's weight exceeds the weighing range, the display shows "OL-d". In this
case, remove the object from the weighing surface immediately.
• Press the ON/OFF button to turn off the scale. The scale turns off automatically after
approx one minute if inactive.
3. Tare function
• Turn on the scale and place an empty measuring container (bowl, basket, etc) on the
weighing surface. Wait until the display stabilizes.
• Press the TARE button. The display shows the value "0.0".
• Place the object you wish to weigh in the measuring container. The displayed weight
is the net weight of the object you are weighing.
• Note: The scale's weighing capacity includes the weight of the measuring container.
We therefore recommend using as light a measuring container as possible.
Note: The scale has been pre-calibrated. If the scale fails to make precise weight measurements,
first replace the batteries.
If the measurements continue to be incorrect, calibrate the scale:
• A calibration weight of 500 g (not included) is required for calibration.
• Turn on the scale. The weighing surface must be empty.
• Press and hold the MODE button until the display shows "CAL".
• Press the MODE button again. The display flashes the indicator "CAL", then the required
calibration weight (500g).
• Place the calibration weight on the weighing surface. Calibration is completed when the
indicator "PASS" appears on the display.
• Remove the calibration weight from weighing surface and turn off the scale.
