The fixed base platen is covered with a layer of silicon rubber on top where the textile will

be placed in order to best withstand high temperatures. The heated platen is lined with a
protective cover so that the textile does not come into direct contact with any metal elements.
The heat transfer material is applied to the fabric by positioning it and the textile between the
base platen and the heated platen; the temperature and pressing action by means of the handle
with fuse the two together.

2.3 Interchangeable platens

The TS- One heat press can be equipped with different platens and accessories:
• Flat surfaced platens of different dimensions
• Curved platens for caps and heels of shoes
Standard platen cm 38X50
"Achille" platen
for heels of shoes
Standard platen cm 38x50 is equipped with 2kW heating element.
Platen cm 15x15 and curved platen are equipped with two 250 W heating element.
