Se le batterie, a disotto del "bidone a ruote cancellato" sono segnati con un simbolo chimico Hg, Cd o Pb, significa che questi contengono più di 0,0005 % Mercurio (Hg),
più di 0,002 % Cadmio (Cd) o piu di 0,004 % Piombo (Pb).
