5.3| MANUAL MODE
You can set the speed, temperature and cooking time of your WMF Avantgarde individually for your
own recipes. To do this, access the Manual mode function from the home screen.
BUTTON DESCRIPTION/FUNCTION
Select motor speed.
Two intermittent speeds (S1, S2), 10 progressive continuous speeds (S3 - S12) and a pulsating
maximum speed (S13).
Choose a cooking temperature between 30 and 150°C.
Choose an operating time from 5 seconds to 2 hours.

Increase or decrease the speed, cooking temperature, and cooking time.
5.4| SETTINGS
From the home screen you can access the Set-
tings ( ) function.
With this function, you can update the
data saved the first time you used the WMF
Avantgarde.
You can also connect your appliance to WiFi
or link it to the app if you didn't do so the first
time you used the appliance.
5.5| SCALE
Make sure the appliance is stable on the
work surface and that the mains cable is not
stretched or pinched under the unit, as this may
result in an incorrect weight.
Do not touch the Avantgarde while using the
scale and make sure that no objects are press-
ing on or against the appliance. During calibra-
tion or weighing, make sure that nothing causes
your WMF Avantgarde to vibrate (e.g. an induc-
tion hob).
Using weighing function
When the weigh button

Weighing in a recipe: You can weigh your
ingredients as you prepare your recipe at the
beginning of each new step:
