Linking account
Select your WMF Avantgarde product in the
WMF app on your smartphone/tablet, and cre-
ate an account, or log in if you already have
one.
Your appliance generates a code that you must
enter in the WMF app.
If you want to link multiple smartphones/tab-
lets to your WMF Avantgarde, each app must be
linked to the same WMF user account.
My first recipe
When you use the appliance for the first time,
your WMF Avantgarde gives you the opportu-
nity to prepare a first recipe so that you can
familiarize yourself with the appliance. Select
My first recipe to receive step-by-step instruc-
tions to guide you through the recipe.
Appliance features
Your WMF app can be operated in online or
offline mode. It features numerous functions
to inspire you every day and make every meal
a great experience! 300 recipes are available
in offline mode, while in online mode you can
access countless more recipes!
Searching for a recipe
On the home screen, you can use the Search (
) button to search for recipes. You can search
by recipe name or by ingredients. Filters are also
available to refine your search.
Recipe library
You can access the Recipe library function
from the home screen. With this function, you
can access all recipes available in the WMF
Avantgarde community.
In offline mode, you will find 300 recipes stored
for you in the recipe library. You can start the
step-by-step instructions directly from one of
these recipe cards.
You can also search for a recipe within the rec-
ipe library by tapping the Search ( ) symbol.
To do this, simply enter a dish or ingredient in
the search bar and tap OK. You can refine your
search by adding filters (e.g. type of dish, prepa-
ration time of recipe).
Personal recipe books
(only available with WiFi connection and
account link)
You can access the My recipe book func-
tion from the home screen. Here you can find
all recipes that you have previously saved as
favorites.
To use this function, you need to download the
WMF app and create an account. You can cre-
ate and edit your recipe books on your smart-
phone/tablet and access them via your WMF
Avantgarde. As soon as your WMF Avantgarde is
connected via WiFi, your recipe books are auto-
matically synchronized between your appliance
and the recipe database every time you prepare
a recipe.
In my fridge
(only available with WiFi connection and
account link)
You can access the In my fridge function from
the home screen. With this feature you can
search for a recipe with ingredients of your
choice.
To find a recipe idea, tap the In my fridge func-
tion, then add your ingredients. Tap Search. A
list of recipes that match the settings you have
entered will then appear.
