To connect your WMF Avantgarde to the Inter-
net, you must carry out the following steps:
Choose your network (If you cannot access

your network, go to Settings, then to WiFi
settings and to Turn on WiFi.)
Enter the password for your WiFi connection

being established appears while the connec-
tion loads. This step may take a few minutes.
If you cannot connect your WMF Avant-

garde to your WiFi, check that it is not near a
metal plate, or a stainless steel splash guard,
and that it is a reasonable distance from the
router.
A Congratulations message on the screen

confirms that the connection was success-
ful ( ).
Finally, you need to select your time zone

4.4| WMF APP
With the WMF app you can keep an eye on your
Avantgarde without being near by. You can
connect the appliance to your smartphone or
tablet. In this way, you can access your recipes
from anywhere.
Check if your smartphone/tablet is connected to
the Internet.
You can also carry out this step later by access-
ing the settings for your WMF Avantgarde from
the home screen.
A link to your smartphone/tablet is required
to use the following function: My recipe book,
starting recipes from the app (remote tracking
of recipe progress via a smartphone).
Setting up and linking an account
You have the option of creating and link-
ing a WMF account in your WMF app. This is
absolutely necessary in order to benefit from
personalized content. Furthermore, account cre-
ation and linking is required so that you can
save your favorite content in your notebooks. If
you are already a WMF Club member, you can
use your credentials to log into your WMF app.
