Only air, no or very
little abrasive.
Unit blasts continu-
ously.
Lamp is not alight.
Compressed air
leaking from the foot
switch.
Foot switch fails to
switch on.
Foot switch hoses
cannot be disconnect-
ed from the unit.
Quick-stop not func-
tioning (the nozzle
blasts continuously).
Sound of rushing air
when the unit is oper-
ating.
Possible cause
• Blasting nozzle blocked at the hand-
piece.
• Foot switch connecting lines kinked.
• Tank selection switch in an interme-
diate position.
• The dosage nozzle in the mixing
chamber is blocked due to contami-
nated or moist sand.
• Mixing chamber filter combination
blocked.
• Abrasive contains impurities or is
moist.
• Foot switch connected incorrectly.
• Valve in foot switch is defective.
• Power cord not plugged in.
• Illumination defect.
• Pneumatic hoses reversed.
• No pressure at the compressed air
connection.
• Pneumatic hoses are kinked.
• Push-in connection is not released
(Fig.
2).
• Pneumatic connections are loose.
• Sandblasting hose worn.
• The connecting pressure at the ex-
ternal air connection
(15, Fig.
too small.
• Outer pressure regulator on the
maintenance unit is altered (fixing
screw is loosen).
• A small amount of leakage is always
present at the control valves, thus al-
lowing (a minimum) of air to escape.
• Continue to turn the tank selection
switch whilst activating the foot
switch at the same time.

and

on page 2 of this document.
• Unscrew the nozzle from the hand-piece and blow it
out.
• With the nozzle removed, blow out the blasting hose
by activating the foot pedal.
• Inspect / correct the connection lines.
• Turn the switch until you feel it click into place.
• Cleaning the dosing nozzle, see chapter 6.4.
• Change filter cartridge
• Replace the abrasive.
• Inspect / correct the foot switch connection.
• Replace foot switch.
• Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
• Change light using the service or see spare part list.
• Reverse the connections.
• Inspect the compressed air lines and / or the compres-
sor.
• Reposition the hoses.
• Press the push-in connection ring on the hose side
firmly while pulling on the hoses.
Please use the release tools supplied (24).
• Inspect the pneumatic connections for correct seating.
• Replace the sandblasting hose.
• Increase the external connecting pressure at a min. of
1) is
5 bar. The external connecting pressure is displayed
on the manometer
• Turn the inner pressure regulator clockwise until stop.
Activa e foot pedal and set the pressure regulator on
the maintenance unit at 5 bar (see manometer).
• This is not a fault, but instead is the result of a pres-
sure release opening which must not be blocked.
• Only turn the tank selection switch when the foot
switch is not activated.
