TROUBLESHOOTING
If the appliance is not working properly...
• Check that the power cable is plugged
into a designated mains outlet.
• It may be the case that the appliance is
not receiving enough power from the
outlet.
• Plug the appliance into a different
outlet to which no other appliances are
connected.
• Check that the amounts of batter and
filling that have been used are not too
great. Never lock the appliance during
the baking process.
• If the fillings are not fully cooked or hot
enough: Consider parboiling or heating
the filling before adding it.
CLEANING AND CARE
1. Clean the appliance after each use.
Unplug the power cable and ensure
the unit has cooled down thoroughly
before cleaning. DO NOT immerse or
submerge the appliance in water or
place it in the dishwasher.
2. Wipe the outside of the appliance
with a clean damp cloth using a mild
detergent.
3. Clean the inside of the appliance with
warm water, a mild detergent and a
non-abrasive cloth or sponge.
4. Use a dry cloth to dry both the inside
and outside of the appliance. Do not
leave water in the appliance.
STORAGE
1. Unplug the appliance and allow it to
thoroughly cool.
2. Make sure the appliance is clean and
dry.
3. Store the appliance in a clean and dry
place. Lock the appliance so that it can
be stored in a space-saving manner.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does the appliance need a certain
amount of time to heat up?
Yes. The appliance will automatically
preheat when plugged into an outlet. The
green indicator light will light up once
preheating is complete and baking can
begin.
How hot does the appliance get?
The temperature range is between 150 °C
and 190 °C.
How do you know when the baking
process is complete?
Check the waffle after 5 to 7 minutes.
How much waffle batter is needed?
The 13 cm diameter appliance holds
approximately 1 cup of batter for an
unfilled waffle. The 18 cm diameter
appliance holds approximately 1½ cups of
batter for an unfilled waffle. Filled waffles
require less batter. The batter and filling
should not exceed ¾ of the waffle mould.
The batter expands during the baking
process.
Can you bake waffles without filling?
Yes. Approximately 1 cup of batter is
required for the 13 cm diameter appliance
and 1½ cups of batter for the 18 cm
