IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
BEFORE USE!
When using electrical appliances, the
following basic safety precautions
should always be followed:
• DO NOT lock the appliance during
preparation. The latch is for storage
purposes only. If the appliance is
accidentally locked during preparation,
it may unlatch automatically to prevent
overpressure. DO NOT try to lock the
appliance again after it has opened.
Leave the appliance to complete the
cooking process.
• Do not overfill the appliance. This can
lead to excessive pressure build-up.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the
handle.
• To protect against electric shock, do not
immerse the cable, plug or appliance in
water or any other liquid.
• The appliance may only be used for the
intended purpose as described in this
manual.
• NEVER operate this appliance if
the cable or plug is damaged or
malfunctioning, or if the appliance
itself is malfunctioning, damaged or
has been dropped.
• Accessories that are not included in the
scope of delivery must not be used with
the appliance.
• NO caustic chemicals may be used in
the cleaning or care of the appliance.
• This appliance may only be used by
children aged 8 years and over if they

EN are supervised or have been instructed
in the safe use of the appliance and
understand the dangers associated
with its use. Cleaning and maintenance
should not be performed by children
unless they are 8 years of age or older
and under adult supervision. The
appliance and its connecting cables are
to be kept away from children younger
than 8 years. This appliance may only be
used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capacities or lack of
experience and/or knowledge if they
have been supervised or instructed
in the safe use of the appliance and
can understand the hazards arising
therefrom. Children must never be
allowed to play with the appliance.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or
electric burner, or in a hot oven.
• Use extreme caution when moving
an appliance with hot oil or other hot
liquid.
• The appliance is equipped with a
short power cable to reduce the risk
of tangling or tripping over one that is
overly long.
• Unplug the appliance's power cable
when not in use or when cleaning.
• Keep the cable away from water and
hot surfaces.
• Never let the power cable hang over the
edge of a table or countertop.
• To avoid electric shocks, prevent liquids
from entering the housing.
• Always keep the appliance and the
power cable OUT OF THE REACH OF
CHILDREN when the appliance is in
operation or cooling down.
