Das gesamte System wurde speziell für den Einsatz in Verbindung mit der Geutebrück ANPR / LPR- Analysesoftware konzipiert. Bei größeren Winkeln werden die Zeichen auf dem Nummernschild stärker verzerrt. Diese Verzerrung erschwert die Erkennung und beeinträchtigt die Erkennungsrate.

Das Optimum liegt um 150 Pixel. Einzelne Zeichen sollten mit 25–30 vertikalen Bildelementen erkannt werden. Die Breite des Nummernschilds wird mit 3–4 Bildelementen erkannt.

Der ANPR-Algorithmus kann so konfiguriert werden, dass eine Bildrate zwischen 3 und 30 Bildern pro Sekunde verarbeitet wird. Bei höheren Fahrzeuggeschwindigkeiten verringert sich die Anzahl möglicher Bilder in der Erfassungszone.

The factory setting is "ON" and the illuminator lights up continuously; day and night. The IR pass filter only lets IR light through. Therefore, the illuminator for license plate recognition must always be set to ON! Light intensity adjustment The light intensity of the IR illuminator is preset on the maximum value.
