INTRODUCTION
This toaster is intended for toasting slices of bread, as well as for crisping up rolls. The toaster can
be used for defrosting bread and rolls. The browning adjustor can be set to a level between 1 and 7.
Additionally, the device is equipped with a pull-out crumb tray which makes it easier to remove the
crumbs.
SAFETY ADVICE

Read this instruction manual carefully before using the product.

If you pass on the device to a third party, please include this instruction manual as well.

This device complies with technical norms and safety requirements for electric devices. The
device corresponds to protection class I.
4.
The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by improper use or non-observance
of this instruction manual.
5.
After each use the device must be switched off.
6.
Keep children away from the device.
7.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or by those with a lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
8.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
9.
Do not immerse the device in water. Danger of electric shock!
10. The device must not be used in the proximity of a bathtub, shower or a washbasin filled with
water.
11. Should the appliance accidentally fall into water, unplug the appliance immediately and have it
checked by a qualified person before using it again.
12. Always place the device on a horizontal, level surface.
13. Do not use the device if it is damaged. In order to avoid hazards, defective parts should only
be replaced by the manufacturer, its Customer Service, or a similarly qualified person.
14. Do not open the device. Danger of electric shock!
15. Do not try to repair the device on your own. Repairs should be conducted by qualified
specialists only.
16. Disconnect the power plug from the socket by pulling the plug, not the cord.
17. Do not insert any objects into the inside of the casing.
18. Do not use the device in the immediate proximity of sources of heat like fire, cooking plates,
etc.
19. Do not touch the device with wet hands, and do not use it on a damp floor or if it is wet.
20. Do not touch the power plug with wet or moist hands.
21. Regularly check the power cord and plug for possible damages. If the power cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
22. Do not use the device if the power cord or plug are visibly damaged or if the device has been
dropped, or otherwise damaged. In such cases have the device checked and possibly
repaired at a service point.
23. Do not let the power cord hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and open
flames. Disconnect the power plug from the socket by pulling the plug, not the cord.
24. For extra protection, it is possible to fit the electric household installation with a fault current
breaker (with a rated breaking current of not more than 30mA). Ask your electrician for advice.
25. Place the cord and, if needed, an extension cord in such a way that pulling or tripping over it is
impossible.
26. If you use an extension cord, it must be suitable for the corresponding power source.
Otherwise, there is danger of overheating the cord and/or plug.
27. Do not leave the device unattended when in use.
28. Switch the device off prior to disconnecting the power plug.
29. C a u t i o n ! The device is energised as long as it is connected to the power supply.
30. Disconnect the power plug if you are finished using the device or if it is being cleaned.
31. Do not carry the device by the power cord.
32. Do not use accessories which are not supplied in the packaging or not recommended by the
