POWER SUPPLY
The device is supplied with 220 - 240V~ 50Hz.
FIRST USE
1. SAFETY ADVICE
1.
Some parts are very hot during work. Use an oven mitt when touching the device.
2.
Do not insert hands into the bread slot to take bread out. Danger of burns!
3.
Do not use the toaster if there are visible cracks or damages to the power cord.
4.
Disconnect the power plug from the socket if the device is not in use.
2. REMOVING PRODUCTION RESIDUES
1.
Caution! Heat up the device once to level 3 and then twice to level 7 without bread in order to
remove production residues. Ensure proper ventilation of the room (e.g. opened window).
Light odour might be emitted during the heating process, however it is harmless and only
temporary.
3. NORMAL TOASTING
1.
Place a maximum of two bread slices in the horizontal position into the bread slots (2).

Connect the power plug (7) to an appropriate socket.
3.
Set the browning adjustor (8) to the desired browning level within the range 1 - 7. When using
for the first time, it is recommended to use the 3rd level. Level 1 is the lightest and level 7 the
darkest browning. Keep in mind that how the bread will be browned also depends on the type
of bread. It is thus recommended to experiment a couple of times to achieve the optimal
browning.

If you toast one slice of bread only, select a lower browning level. If you use the device
continuously, because of the accumulation of heat in the device the bread will be gradually
darker even if you use the same browning level. After each toasting, allow the device to cool
down for approx. 20 seconds, so that the built-in thermostat can reset itself.
5.
Press the engaging lever (3) down until it is locked in place. The toasting process begins. The

You can change the browning level during the toasting process if, after switching the device
on, you come to a conclusion that you selected a too low or too high level.
8.
After reaching the set browning level the device switches off automatically. The lever jumps

Caution! Be very careful when taking the slices out, since the metal parts can be very hot.
10. To stop the toasting process before the set time is up, press the

4. TOASTING DEEP-FROZEN BREAD

Set the browning adjustor to the desired level and press the lever down. Press the

When toasting frozen bread with the defrosting function
takes longer than if the bread is not frozen.
5. REHEATING TOASTED SLICES
1.
Set the browning adjustor to the desired level. Press the engaging lever down. Then press the

up and the reheating starts.
6. HEATING UP ROLLS
1.
Place the roll nozzle (1) on the toaster. Place the rolls on the roll nozzle. Select a browning
level higher than 3. Press the lever down. The indicator lamp of the
