EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES
1. Grass catcher - 1 pc.
PREPARATION TO WORK
UNFOLDING THE HANDLE
The handle lock knobs are located on both sides of the handle. The
operation of locking or unlocking should be carried out in parallel for
the individual knobs.
• Pull the handles away from the mower housing (fig. A).
• Lock the lower handle (2) by pressing (against the spring force)
the lower handle locking knob (8) and turn it 900 (fig. B).
• Lift the upper handle (4) (fig. C) and push (against the spring force)
the upper handle lock knobs (3) and turn it 900 counterclockwise
(the knobs will only lock in one position when the protrusions
(arrows) on their circumference are perpendicular to the handle)
(fig. D).
The height of the handle can be adjusted in two positions,
depending on the needs, thanks to the 2 holes for locking the lower
handle (11) (fig. E).
FOLDING THE HANDLE
• Turn the upper handle lock knobs (3) clockwise (the spring will
automatically extend the lock pins allowing the upper handle to
lower).
• Turn the lower handle lock knobs (8) by 900 (in either direction) to
unlock the lower handle.
• Push the handles onto the mower housing (fig. F).
GRASS BASKET ASSEMBLY
• Lift the outlet cover (12) and hang the grass catcher (7) on the
outlet using the two hooks on the top of the mower housing (fig. G).
The grass catcher (7) is held in place by the spring force of the outlet
cover (12). The grass catcher has a convenient carrying handle to
empty it of grass clippings.
ATTENTION! Always make sure that the grass catcher is
properly attached.
ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT
WARNING! Before changing the cutting height setting, switch
the mower off and disconnect the batteries or remove the
safety key from the socket.
The cutting height is adjusted with the height-of-cut lever in six
positions, ranging from 25-75 mm.
• Pull the cutting height adjustment lever (10) out of the recess (fig.
H).
• Select the desired mowing height by moving the mowing
adjustment lever.
• Place the cutting height adjustment lever in one of the selected
recesses in the cutting height adjustment lever lock on the mower
housing.
ATTENTION! The cutting height is set simultaneously on all
four road wheels.
TRANSPORT HANDLE
The mower has a convenient and practical carrying handle on the
housing.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
ON / OFF
WARNING! Install the batteries prior to commissioning. The
device requires 2 batteries, otherwise it will not work. In order
for the device to work properly, the batteries should have the
same capacity and level of charge. The mower has a safety key
in the battery compartment, which must be inserted in the
socket for the device to start working. Failure to put the safety
key in the socket results in the inability to start the mower
despite the installed batteries.
WARNING! Before starting, make sure that the switch is in the
off position and that all components are properly assembled
as described in this manual.
ON - OFF
• Raise the battery compartment cover (1).
• Install the batteries and put the safety key (13) in the socket (14)
(fig. I, J).
ATTENTION! The mower is equipped with a safety switch to
prevent accidental start-up.
The mower has a combined switch with two levers.
Turning on
• Press and hold down the switch lock button (6).
• Pull one of the switch levers (5) against the handle and hold it (fig.
K).
• Release the pressure on the switch lock button (6).
Turning off
• Release the switch lever (5) and wait until the cutting knife has
stopped rotating.
ATTENTION! Each time during commissioning, the safety
button of the switch should be pressed. Never attempt to lock
a switch safety pushbutton or switch lever in the engaged
position.
All parts should be properly installed and meet the
requirements ensuring proper operation of the mower. Any
damaged safety element or part should be repaired or replaced
immediately. The cutting elements continue to rotate after the
engine has been switched off.
TIPS FOR SAFE USE
• When mowing long grass, work should be done gradually, in
layers.
• Move the mower in a smooth motion by pushing or pulling with
both hands on the handle.
• When the mower is running, keep it away from hard objects and
crops.
• The mower may only be used when the grass is dry.
• Frequent emptying of the grass catcher (2/3 full) will ensure a
smoother mowing process.
The mower can be used with or without the grass catcher (7) fitted.
Note, however, that the outlet cover (12) must be lowered when
mowing without the grass catcher.
WARNING! The mower must not be operated without the
basket and the outlet cover raised.
REMARK! When working with a lawn mower, remember not to
expose the mower with batteries to direct sunlight, especially for a
longer break time, leaving the device unattended. The batteries
can heat up a lot during this time. An increase in temperature can
damage both the battery and the mower. When the critical
temperature is exceeded, spontaneous ignition and even
explosion of batteries may occur. Never expose batteries to direct
and prolonged sunlight!
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Before performing any installation, adjustment,
repair or maintenance activities, remove the batteries from the
device and disconnect the safety key.
CLEANING
• After each mowing operation, remove any grass residues that
have accumulated in the cutter blade housing.
• The motor housing should be dust and dirt free at all times.
• Clean the ventilation slots in the motor housing to prevent them
from being blocked by grass clippings.
• Wipe the device with a clean cloth or blow it with compressed air
at low pressure.
• Do not use water or chemical cleaners for cleaning
• Be careful not to let water get inside the device.
• After finishing work, remove the grass catcher and clean it
thoroughly to prevent mold and odor.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• Check if the cutting knife has not been damaged by hitting hard
objects, if necessary - sharpen or replace the cutting knife.
