High efficiency particulate air filter replacement
When the status indicator LED illuminates RED, further investigation is required
regarding condition of a filter and a battery. If no fault on battery has been found, the
high efficiency particulate (HEPA) filter must be replaced.
Install a new HEPA filter as shown in Figure 35-Figure 39 and Figure 7 on page 15.

SERVICING
Remove the respirator.
Turn off the respirator and open the
filter cover, by releasing the latches on
both sides of the respirator as shown in
Figure 35 – Figure 36.

Remove filter cover (Figure 37).
Remove contaminated HEPA filter,
odour filter/pre-filter and hood anti-
recirculation gasket, as applicable.
Dispose of contaminated items
according to local regulations.
