with the delivery of devices containing batteries or rechargeable batteries, we are obliged

crossed-out dustbin means that batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed
of with household waste. If the battery or accumulator contains more than 0.0005 % mercury
by mass, more than 0.002 % cadmium by mass or more than 0.004 % lead by mass, the
symbol outside the crossed-out dustbin is extended by the chemical symbols of the metals
(Hg, Cd, Pb). As an end user, you are legally obliged not to dispose of all spent batteries and
accumulators in household waste, but to return them to retailers or municipal collection
points. Used batteries and accumulators may contain harmful substances that can damage
the environment or your health if not stored or disposed of properly. Returned spent batteries
and accumulators are only recycled. This means that valuable raw materials such as iron, zinc,
manganese or nickel are recovered. You can either return used batteries or accumulators free
of charge in your immediate vicinity (e.g. to a retailer or recycling centre) or send them back

The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin indicates that this appliance is subject to the EU
Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE Directive). Do not dispose
of this appliance as normal household waste, but collect it separately and dispose of it in
an environmentally sound manner at a municipal collection point. A black bar under the
crossed-out dustbin indicates that the appliance was placed on the market after 2005.
The recycling symbol consists of three arrows that represent the reuse cycle (recycling).
The packaging and filling materials can be recycled. Do not dispose of the packaging
and filling materials in household waste, but take them to the recycling collection in an
environmentally friendly way.
