4. The symbol for the Sleeptimer appears in the Display with the time remaining until the radio is
switched off.
If you would like to deactivate the sleep timer, please select the time setting "Off".

5.9 Setting the alarm clock

Please note that the "Alarms" function is available only with the connected power supply. The
alarm function cannot be used in the battery mode.
The CR-M30DAB can be set to 2 different alarm times. These alarm times can be programmed for the
following time blocks: "Once" / "Daily" / "Weekends" / "Workday".
To set the alarm time, please proceed as follows:
1. Switch on the radio and call up the menu with <MENU/INFO> button.
2. Using the <TUNE+/-> button or the volume control, select the "Alarms" menu and confirm.
3. "Alarm 1" is displayed. Now you can set up the Alarm Time 1or using the <TUNE+/-> button or
volume control switch to Alarm Time 2 ("Alarm Clock 2").
4. After confirming with the <ENTER/SCAN> button, perform the following steps:
• Alarm clock setting "On" or "Off" (Select with <TUNE+/-> or the volume control, continue with the
<ENTER/SCAN> button).
• Setting of hours and minutes (Select numbers with <TUNE+/-> or the volume control, continue with
the <ENTER/SCAN> button).
• Select the setting for the Source "FM", "DAB" or "Buzzer" with <TUNE+/-> or the volume control,
continue with <ENTER/SCAN> button.
• Setting the "Interval": Select "Once" / "Daily"/ "Weekends" / "Workday" with <TUNE+/-> or the
volume control, continue with <ENTER/SCAN>.
• Select start-up volume under "Volume" with <TUNE+/-> or the volume control, continue with
<ENTER/SCAN>.
The Alarm Clock is now stored and you can leave the menu. A corresponding Alarm Clock symbol
appears in the Display.
Proceed analogously for setting the 2nd Alarm Clock. To delete a set alarm, select "Alarm off" in the last
step.
The Alarm Clock switches off at the specified time. To interrupt the Alarm Signal press any button, if
needed, several times to activate Snooze Function with following intervals: 5 - 10 - 15 - 30 minutes.
Press the < /FUNC> button to deactivate the Alarm Signal.
5.10 Setting the sound (Equaliser)
The radio has seven preset sound settings:
"Classic" / "Pop" / "Jazz" / "Rock" / "Flat" / "Movie" / "News"
These can be selected in the "EQ" menu.
5.11 Factory setting
In the "Factory Reset" menu you can set the radio in the delivery state. To do this select "Yes" and
restart the radio. With "No" you can call up the previous menu level.
