6. Using the DAB + radio

Press the button < /FUNC> on the radio until "DAB" appears in the display.
6.1 Setting the DAB + stations
During start-up of the device, a station search has already been carried out. The stations found are stored
alphabetically in the station list.
Restart automatic station search:
• Call up the menu with the <MENU/INFO> button.
Select "Scan", and start scanning with the <ENTER/SCAN> button.
• During the search, the display will show the number of stations found so far.
• If no stations are found while scanning "No reception!" appears in the Display. Please check the
correct orientation of the antenna or try to find another location for the device for better reception.
Then, call up the "Scan" menu again.
• You can also start scanning by pressing and holding the <ENTER/SCAN> button.
Manual tuning of ensembles:
• Call up the menu with the <MENU/INFO> button.
• Using the <TUNE+/-> or the volume control select the "Manual Tune" and then press <ENTER/
SCAN>. The current set station with the associated frequency appears in the Display.
• Use the <TUNE+/-> button or the volume control, to manually select another station.
• Using the <ENTER/SCAN> button confirm the selection. Thereafter, the signal level is shown in the
display, another pressing stores the selected ensemble.
Selecting a DAB + station
The stations stored alphabetically in the station list can be selected as follows:
• Press the <TUNE+/-> button or use the volume control to browse forwards or backwards in the station
list.
• Once the desired station is selected press the <ENTER/SCAN> button, to start the playback.
• If the reception level on the selected station is insufficient for trouble-free playback, there appears
"No Signal!" in the Display. In this case please select another station.

6.2 Storing stations in the station memory (favourites)

To store DAB stations for easier retrieval, 40 memory slots are available. 2 memory locations can be
selected via direct selection buttons.
1. Storing on the direct selection buttons 1 & 2:
• Select a station to save
• Keep the corresponding number button pressed until "Favorite Station Set!" appears in the display.
• Stored stations can be called up by briefly pressing the direct selection buttons.
2. Assignment of the memory locations 3 - 40:
• Select a station to save
• Press the <PRESET> button, until the "Preset Store" appears in the Display.
• Use the <TUNE+/-> button or the volume control to select a memory location.
• Press the <ENTER/SCAN> button, to complete saving. The "Favorite Station Set!" is displayed in the
Display.
• You can call up the saved stations with the <PRESET> button, selected with the <TUNE+/-> button or
the volume control and stored with the <ENTER/SCAN>.
