• The safety valve automatically releases
air to lower the pressure if the pressure
in the tank exceeds the closing pressure.
Always check the valve before use by
turning it.
1. Fit the battery.
2. Start the product and wait until the tank
has filled with air. The product switches off
when the closing pressure is reached.
3. Switch off the product.
4. Turn the safety valve anticlockwise to
release air. Turn the safety valve clockwise
to close it.
5. If air is still released after taking these
steps the safety valve is defective. Switch
off the product, remove the battery and
have qualified personnel check and if
necessary repair the product before using
it again.
WARNING!
The product must not be used before the
safety valve has been replaced if air leaks out
after turning the safety valve back to closed
position. Failure to follow these instructions
can result in a risk of serious or fatal injury.
MAINTENANCE
Clean the product with a damp cloth. Use a
mild detergent, not solvent or caustic solution.
Do not use solvent, flammable or toxic liquids
to clean the machine and its components. Only
clean with a soft, damp cloth. Check that the
battery has been removed from the product
before cleaning and other maintenance.
WARNING!
The safety valve should not be tampered with
or blocked under any circumstances.
• Check the air tank for external or internal
corrosion at least once a week. The wall
thickness of the tank must under no
circumstances by less than 2 mm.
• Drain condensation from the air tank at
regular intervals by opening the drain
valve. Relieve the pressure in the air tank
and allow the product to cool before
opening the drain valve.
• If the product is not going to be used for
some time, remove the battery, relieve the
pressure in the tank and empty the tank
of condensate by opening the drain valve.
• Empty the condensate formed in the tank
after about 2 hours of use. Activate the
connected accessory to empty the tank.
Switch off the compressor. Open the drain
valve in the bottom of the tank 2 turns.
Undo the emptying valve 5 under the
compressor two turns. The compressor
should be in an upright position. Empty
out the water and screw tight the valve.
• If the condensate is not drained the tank
can corrode, leading to reduced capacity
and putting safety at risk.
