INTENDED USE

This machine has been designed to
remove snow from pavements, gardens,
drives and other ground-level surfaces. Any
other usage may be hazardous and harm
persons and/or damage things. Examples
of improper use may include, but are not
limited to:
• Use of the machine on surfaces above
ground level, such as roofs on houses,
garages, porticoes or other structures or
buildings.
• Activate the auger in the presence of
materials other than snow (e.g. soil,
grass, pebbles, etc.),
• Pulling or pushing loads.
• Do not carry passengers.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES

WARNING
Read all safety warnings and all instruc-
tions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in electric shock,
fire and/or serious injury.
■ Save all warnings and instructions
for future reference. The term "power
tool" in the warnings refers to your
battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
TRAINING
■ This power tool can be used by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning

use of the power tool in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the power
tool. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without
supervision.
■ Read the operating manual carefully. Be
thoroughly familiar with the controls and
the proper use of the equipment. Know
how to stop the unit and disengage the
controls quickly.
■ Never allow children to operate the
power tool. Never allow adults to
operate the power tool without proper
instruction.
■ Keep the area of operation clear of all
persons, particularly small children, and
pets.
■ Exercise caution to avoid slipping of
falling, especially when operating in
reverse.
■ Do not use on graveled surface unless
the snow mover is adjusted for such
a surface in accordance with the
operator's manual.
■ Dress Properly – Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelry. They can be caught
in moving parts.
■ Wear rubber boots when operating the
snow thrower.
■ Operation of the snow thrower in the
hand-held position is unsafe, except in
accordance with the special instructions
for such use provided in the operator's
manual.
■ Let engine (motor) and machine adjust
to outdoor temperatures before starting
to clear snow.

■ Thoroughly inspect the area where the
power tool is to be used and remove
