Proper Use

The appliance is to be used
according to the instructions
specified herein for steam or
dry ironing in private house-
holds.
Only switch on the appliance
once the steam iron has
been placed on the corre-
sponding rest on the ironing
table.

persons without supervi-

Young children should be
supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the
appliance.
• Always make sure that
the power cord is not
hanging down.
• Never leave the ap-
pliance unattended while
it is connected to the
mains supply.
• Only place the steam iron
system on a horizontal
and level surface to make
sure it is stable. Make
sure the height adjust-
ment device locks into
place.
• The steam iron is hot and
so is the steam jet. Point
out to other people the
possible risk of being
scalded or burnt. Never
