5. EMERGENCY RELEASE IN CASE OF POWER FAILURE

5.1. ELECTRONIC EMERGENCY RELEASE
•
In the event of a power failure, it is possible to perform the electronic emergency opening within 24 hours.
•
The internal battery is used to open and close the pull-out.
•
Unlocking is limited to a maximum of two openings and closings! Once these have been reached, the pull-out
is blocked until the power returns.
•
After 24 hours without mains voltage, the battery is switched o . After that, the entire electronic system is
de-energised.
To perform the emergency unlocking, proceed as follows:
1. Press and hold the key switch in the direction of opening
2. Press and hold the button of the pull-out to be opened until a short signal tone sounds (if the pull-out is
locked, three short signal tones sound).
3. Release the key switch and the button
4. The pull-out starts the opening run. If necessary, pull the pull-out at the beginning of the opening run if it does
not open completely by itself.
5. Press the button on the pull-out to close it.
NOTE:
The automatic door closing function is also active in the emergency unlocking mode and can be deacti-
vated if necessary, as in normal operation. Please refer to point 3.7 for the necessary steps.
5.2. MECHANICAL EMERGENCY RELEASE
•
If emergency unlocking is not possible via the integrated rechargeable battery, it can also be carried out
mechanically.
•
For this purpose, the connection between the vertical pull-out and the drive unit must be loosened in the roof
area as follows
NOTE:
When the vertical pull-out is detached from the drive unit, the self-closing function of the open vertical
pull-out is also deactivated in case of fire. To ensure safety in the event of a fire, the vertical drawer must be
fully pushed into the cabinet by hand.
