Battery Charging

CAUTION
● Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
● Make sure the charger connector is matching with the battery
connector.
● Make sure the brand, voltage and frequency of the charger are in
accordance with the wall outlet.
● Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
● The supply terminals are not to be short circuited.
Charge the Battery
The first charge will take about 12
hours.
1. Insert the charger connector into
the charger port( located on the
pedal of nearby).
2. Plug the charger into a standard
120V OR 230V wall outlet, Note:
The charger may feel warm during
charging, this is normal and not a
cause for concern.
3. After charging is complete(at least 8-10 hours, but not more than 24
hours, with the first charge taking about 12 hours) unplug the charger
from the wall outlet and unplug the battery connector from the charger
port.
● Plug the battery connector into the charger port.
● Plug the charger Into a standard wall outlet. The charger may feel warm
during charging.
Only use the 6/12 volt charger to charge your 6/12 volt battery.

Before first-time use, charge the battery for at least 12 hours. Never
charge the battery longer than 24 hours.
● Do not charge or store battery upside down. Charging produces explosive
gases. Charge away from flames, sparks and lit cigarettes. Charge In a well
ventilated area.
● Once the battery Is charged, disconnect the battery connector from the
charger connector. Unplug the charger from the wall outlet. The battery is
now ready to be installed in your vehicle. Please see the following Battery
Installation Section for detailed instructions on installing your vehicle:
Battery Care and Disposal
Care
● If a battery leak develops, avoid contact with the leaking acid and place the
damaged battery in a sealed plastic bag.
● If acid comes in contact with skin or eyes, flush with cool water for at least
15 minutes and call a physician immediately.
● If acid internally ingested, give water, milk of magnesia or egg whites
immediately. Never give emetics or induce vomiting. Call a physician
immediately.
● Charge a new battery for at least 12 hours before first use.
● Never charge the battery longer than 24 hours.
● Overcharging or undercharging the battery may shorten battery life and
decrease vehicle running time.
● Never charge the battery longer than 24 hours.
Battery Replacement
1. Lift the seat out
2. Disconnect the battery connectors
3. Remove 2 screws on the sides of the
battery
4. Take out the battery from the battery
compartment.
