SAFETY FUNCTIONS

￭ Short circuit protection: In the event of a short circuit at
the contact or the heating element, the integrated electronics
automatically turn the product off. After removing the short
circuit, please connect the batteries briefly with the charging
plugs. Next, press the control button once and the product is
ready again.
Protection against overcharging and exhaustive discharge:

The product is protected against overcharging and exhaustive
discharge with the integrated electronics system.
HOW TO USE THE BATTERY PACKS
￭ Put on the heatable sock.
￭ Remove the contact protector from the battery packs (Fig. 1.4).
￭ Push the battery packs onto the snap fasteners of the socks
until they firmly lock into place (Fig. 3.1).
￭ Fold over the sock cuff with the battery packs (Fig. 3.2).
￭ The battery packs can be controlled with the symbol provided
on the folded over sock cuff (Fig. 3.3).
Use with Lenz heat products
￭ Remove the contact protector from the lithium packs (Fig. 1.4).

Press the lithium packs onto the snap fasteners until they

audibly snap into place (Fig. F).
￭ The lithium packs can be operated conveniently, either
manually through the visual control window or the textile
(Fig. G).
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
When using the heated product, the optimal heating power is
￭
only produced when all heated products, textiles and socks you
are wearing are dry.
￭ Do not operate the device at the highest heating power for
longer than several minutes.
Always set the product to a low or medium heat output to
￭
maintain a comfortably warm temperature (the heater should be
virtually unnoticeable).

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

The battery packs have two operating modes: POWER OFF – IN
USE. They are revealed by the heat setting display (Fig. 1.2) on
the battery packs. The number of illuminated LEDs corresponds
to the selected heat setting.
POWER OFF:
The battery packs are completely turned off and the heat setting

display (Fig. 1.2) is permanently off.
They can only be switched on with the control button (Fig. 1.3)
￭
of the battery packs.
IN USE:
The battery packs supply the connected sock with energy.
