3. Insert the dust extraction adapter (3) in the
dust extraction opening (a).
The dust extraction adapter can be inserted on
either side to suit the application. See Fig. 5.
Connect the dust extraction adapter (3) to a suita-
ble dust extraction system (b) as shown in Fig. 6.
6. Operation
6.1 On/Off switch (Fig. 7 / Item 6)
To switch on the equipment, move the On/Off
switch (6) from "0" to "1".
To switch off the equipment, move the On/Off
switch (6) from "1" to "0".
6.2 Speed control (Fig. 7/Pos. 5)
You can select the speed by turning the speed
controller (5).
Plus direction:
Higher speed
Minus direction:
Lower speed
6.3 Practical tips
This equipment off ers particularly high perfor-
mance for the grinding/sanding of hard-to-reach
corners and edges. To grind/sand profi les and
channels you can also work with just the tip or
the edge of the grinding/sanding disk. Various
grinding/sanding papers are available, specially
designed for the diff erent types of material you
may be working on and the amount you wish to
remove from the surface. The amount removed
will depend largely on the choice of grinding/san-
ding paper and pressure applied to the grinding/
sanding disk.

7. Replacing the power cable

Danger!
If the power cable for this equipment is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
after-sales service or similarly trained personnel
to avoid danger.

8. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
Danger!
Always pull out the mains power plug before star-
ting any cleaning work.
8.1 Cleaning
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it with compressed air at low
pressure.
We recommend that you clean the device
immediately each time you have finished
using it.
Clean the equipment regularly with a moist
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these could at-
tack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensu-
re that no water can seep into the device. The
ingress of water into an electric tool increases
the risk of an electric shock.
8.2 Carbon brushes
In case of excessive sparking, have the carbon
brushes checked only by a qualifi ed electrician.
Danger! The carbon brushes should not be rep
laced by anyone but a qualifi ed electrician.
8.3 Maintenance
There are no parts inside the equipment which
require additional maintenance.
8.4 Ordering replacement parts:

replacement parts:
