Checking upper / lower plummet point:
- Position the laser in a room with approx. 3 m height.
- Level the device and turn on all vertical beams for upper plummet point.
- Mark lower pummet point and ceiling point.
- Turn the laser by 180° and measure distance between plummet laser points and the
markings.
- The measured distance should not exceed ± 1 mm, otherwise the laser needs adjustment.
Checking vertical lines:
- Apply a plumb bob to the ceilig or a wall.
- Level the device and turn on all vertical lines.
- Check all vertical lines by aligning each of them with the plumb bob line.
- If laser and plumb bob lines are aligned, the laser is adjusted perfectly.
Checking horizontal line:
1. Position the laser on a tripod or on a horizontal surface at approx. 15 cm distance from
wall A and approx. 10 m from wall B.
2. Turn on the device and allow te MATRIX 360° to level.
3. Mark laser position on wall A.
4. Turn the divice by 180° and mark laser position on wall B.
5. Reposition the laser at approx. 15 cm distance from wall B.
6. Adjust the laser position (height) to align laser beam with marking on wall B.
7. Turn the divice by 180° and mark laser position on wall A.
8. If both markings on wall A are aligned, the laser is calibrated perfectly.
9. In case the markings are not aligned, measure the distance in between. Divide the value
by 2. The result displays the laser accuracy related to the distance between the two walls.
It should not exceed 2 mm on 10 m, otherwise the laser has to be calibrated.
