CARE AND CLEANING

• Turn off the device, unplug the power cord, and remove any items, including the
shelves. Wash the inside surfaces with a warm water and baking powder solution.
The solution should consist of about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to 1 cup of
water.
• Wash the shelves with a mild detergent solution. To prevent the electrical parts from
being damaged by moisture, make sure that the cloth or sponge is only slightly
moist.
• Wipe the housing with warm water and a mild cleaning solution. The cloth or
sponge may only be slightly moist. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scrubbing or steel
brushes for cleaning. These can damage the stainless steel, allowing rust to form.
NOTE: Do not touch the plug with wet hands. Never clean the equipment with
flammable liquids. Their fumes can cause a fire or an explosion. Do not use solvent-
based cleaners or abrasive cleaners. These cleaners can damage or discolor the
surfaces.
In case of power failure
Most power failures are short term and should not affect the temperature of your device
as long as you keep the doors closed.
When moving the device to another location
• Remove all items and bottles.
• Fasten all loose parts (shelves) in your device with adhesive tape.
• Turn the adjustable feet completely in to avoid damage.
• Fasten the door with adhesive tape.
Ensure that the device remains in an upright position during transport. If you need to
transport the device horizontally, transport the device with the doors upwards, and
protect the device with a blanket or similar object.
Energy-saving tips
• Place the device in the coolest place in the room, away from all sources of heat or
direct sunlight.
• Make sure that there is enough space around the device to allow ventilation. Never
cover the ventilation slots.
• Open the doors only as long as necessary. Frequent opening of the doors increases
the internal temperature.
