- If hot meals are to be stored, let them completely cool down before placing them inside theappliance. Putting
hot food or drinks inside the appliance creates an excessive amount ofsteam which can cause anomalies and
malfunctions;
- In the event of a power failure, if possible, do not open the door to prevent cool air from escaping;
- Wait at least 2-3 minutes after disconnecting the plug before connecting the appliance to thepower supply
line again.
6.Cleaning and servicing

6.1 Safety instructions

- Disconnect the appliance from the mains electricity supply (remove the plug from thesocket) before cleaning
the appliance or starting any servicing or repair activities;
- Do not use aggressive detergent products and make sure that water does not enter the control panel or
inside the appliance's technician chamber;
- To prevent electric shock, never clean the appliance with a jet of water, and never immersethe appliance or
its parts, the power supply cable or the plug in water or any other liquid.

6.2 Cleaning the appliance

The appliance must be cleaned regularly:
- Clean the inside of the appliance at least once a week;
- Remove the racks and clean them with a soft cloth or sponge moistened with a delicatedetergent. Thoroughly
dry the racks before reinserting them in the appliance;
A plastic spatula may be used if necessary or in the case of particularly stubborn dirt. The useof metal tools is
not recommended;
- Clean all parts of the appliance with a soft cloth or sponge moistened with a neutral anddelicate detergent.
Carefully dry everything after cleaning;
- Only use clean water to moisten the cloth or sponge for cleaning;
- Do no use abrasive detergents, such as, for example, abrasive powders, agents containingalcohol, bleach,
diluents, etc. which could damage plastic parts, painted parts or components made of stainless steel;
- After cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth for drying the surfaces. Check that all the parts are perfectly dry before
restarting the appliance;
- Clean the condenser, which is located above the cabinet and behind the control panel, atleast once a week.
Before cleaning, close and protect the cabinet, then remove the dust thathas deposited on the front of the
condenser with a vacuum cleaner and a brush;
- Carefully clean the condenser filter with a vacuum cleaner and a brush, then finish thecleaning by immersing
the filter in warm water with an antibacterial detergent. Let the filterdry completely in a dry and ventilated place
before putting it back on the condenser.
6.3 Servicing
The operator can perform the following maintenance operations:
- Periodically check the condition of the power supply cable. Do not use the appliance if thecable is damaged.
If the cable is damaged, have it replaced by the dealer or by a qualifiedtechnician;
- Check the overall condition of the appliance;
WARNING! Risk of burns!
During normal use, the surface of the compressor can become very hot. Never
touch the compressor with your bare hands.
WARNING!
The appliance is not designed to be cleaned:
- With a jet of water;
- With a jet of high pressure water;
- By immersing it or its parts in water or any other liquid.
