7. Ensure that the crumb tray is inserted correctly at the bottom of the heating com-
partment. When expecting that juices will drip (e.g. meat, some vegetables),
you may insert the baking pan in the bottom shelf slot.
8. Connect the oven to the power supply and touch the ON/OFF button for swit-
ching on the oven. Press the function button to activate the complete key area.
9. Touch a selection button several times until the program Chicken is shown on the
program area.
10. If required, modify the cooking time and temperature (see: 'Controlling the Oven
Manually'). For selecting the cooking time, consider the time for heating up the
oven (max. 10 minutes).
11. Touch the START/PAUSE button to start the oven.
Inserting the Rotisserie Spit into the Pre-Heated Oven
WARNING - RISK OF BURNS:
heating compartment are extremely hot! Even the exterior of the oven may be hot.
Only touch the oven at the dedicated handles and operating elements. When
inserting or removing the rotisserie spit, always avoid to touch any parts in the
heating compartment.
12. Hold the prepared rotisserie spit and a fork ready at hand. After pre-heating
(max. 10 minutes), hold the ON/OFF button pressed until the signal sounds for
unlocking the key area. Press the START/PAUSE button to interrupt the running
program (see: 'Interrupting or Cancelling the Cooking Process'). The heating
elements are switched off and the rotor drive and cooking time stop.
13. Protect your hand with oven gloves. Open the oven door by the handle.
14. Take the rotisserie spit by the spit handle. The spit handle must be inserted in the
dedicated grooves at both sides of the rotisserie spit. Ensure to hold the rotisserie
spit in correct orientation. The third groove must face to the spit support in the
heating compartment (see above).
15. Ensuring not to touch the interior of the heating compartment with your hands,
insert the rotisserie spit at the right side into the rotor drive. For this, if required,
use the fork for turning the rotisserie spit to and fro until the end of the rotisserie
spit slips into the opening of the rotor drive.
16. Place the groove at the other end of the rotisserie spit in the spit support. Check,
if the rotisserie spit is fixed and will not slip away.
17. Close the oven door and touch the START/PAUSE button to continue the oven
program.
