INTERRUPTING OR CANCELLING THE COOKING PROCESS

You can interrupt the running oven program at any time (see: 'Pause Function').
• When the oven program has been started no longer than 20 seconds ago
(the arrow in the top line of the display area is flashing), you simply press the
START/PAUSE button to interrupt operation. The pause icon is shown instead of
the arrow.
• If you wish to interrupt or cancel the oven program, while the key area is locked
(no respond to your touch, the arrow on the display area is illuminated continu-
ously, approx. 20 seconds after starting the oven), you need to unlock the key
area first. Unlocking the key area does NOT interrupt operation.
Note
After interrupting the running program, all buttons of the key area are available
and you can change the settings of the current oven program (see: 'Controlling the
Oven Manually'). For example, when detecting that your food did not reach the
expected consistency, you may lengthen the cooking time, or increase the tempe-
rature for getting a crispy crust for your roast.
Important: After cancelling the oven program, there is no way to continue this
cooking cycle. You must start the oven newly.
1. Only with the key area already locked (no respond to your touch), hold the
ON/OFF button pressed until a beep sounds (approx. 2 seconds). The arrow
on the display area flashes again. The key area is unlocked now with the oven
program running still. With the oven program running, the ON/OFF button, light
button, fan button and START/PAUSE button are available.
2. If you wish to interrupt the running program, press the START/PAUSE button. The
pause icon II is shown instead of the arrow, and the buttons of the key area are
available again.
3. For re-assuming operation after interrupting the oven program, please do not forget
to continue the running program within 2 minutes by pressing the START/PAUSE
button. The pause icon is deleted and the arrow flashes again for 20 seconds.
With the arrow illuminated continuously, the key area will be locked again.
Important: Do not forget to continue the oven program by pressing the START/
PAUSE button.
4. If you wish to cancel the running program completely, press the ON/OFF button.
A beep sounds and the oven switches back to standby mode. The control panel
