14. Care and cleaning

a) General Cleaning
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could damage the
casing or stop the product from functioning properly.
• Always disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning it.
• Use a damp, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
• Never hold the appliance under running water or immerse it in water or any other liquid during cleaning. Water must
not get inside the appliance.

Possible cause
The condensate tank is full.
The room temperature is lower than the
set temperature in air conditioner mode.
The appliance is placed in direct
sunlight.
Doors and/or windows are open.
There are heat sources in the room.
Air outlet hose is not connected or
blocked.
Too high a temperature is set.
The air inlets (7) are blocked or very
dirty.
This product is on an uneven surface.
Coolant flows through the tubes.
The compressor is switched on after a
time delay (protective function).
Solution
Empty the condensate tank.
Set the desired temperature again.
Reduce the amount of sunlight (drawing
curtains, moving the appliance) the
appliance gets.
Close all doors and windows.
Where possible, remove the heat source
or switch it off.
Connect the air outlet hose or remove
the blockage.
Set the desired temperature again.
Clean the filter at the air inlets.
Place the appliance on a flat, stable,
vibration-free surface.
This noise is normal.
Wait for about 3 minutes for the
compressor to start.
