before use, and keep it for future use.

use of the product.
Follow basic safety precautions, including the following:
1. Read this instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
2. Place the device on flat, stable and firm surface. Avoid carpet or soft surfaces.
3. The product is not waterproof. Do not place the appliance in water or any liquid.
4. The surface of the scale will be slippery if wet. Please make sure both the glass and your
feet are dry before use.
5. Remove the batteries if the product is not going to be used for a long time.
6. Please note: when using the scale for the first time or when changing its position or
location, the scale should be restarted twice and should be free of objects to ensure
accurate measurements. Such calibration should be performed to assure precise
measurements.
7. Appliance for indoor use only.
8. Do not attempt to repair this appliance yourself. Only authorized and qualified personnel
may repair this device. Never disassemble this product.
The scale has a function key designed for changing units. Press UNITS key repeatedly to
change measured units.
Note: The scale has an auto-on function. When in standby mode, press UNIT key to power the
scale on manually.
