3. Mounting and dimensional drawings

These resistance thermometers are designed to be screwed directly into the process. Installation
length as well as flow velocity and viscosity of the process medium can have a reducing effect on the
max. protective pipe load.
The housing must be grounded against electromagnetic fields and electrostatic charges. It does
not have to be connected separately to the equipotential bonding system if it has solid and secured
metallic contact with the container or its structural parts or piping, provided that these are connected
to the equipotential bonding system.
In case of non-metallic contact with the container or its construction parts or piping, the device must
be provided with equipotential bonding.

For process temperatures > 150 °C,
variants without process connection
and variants with clamping connec-
tion must be mounted so that
distance M between the bottom of
the housing and the installation level
is at least 70 mm (see dimensions).
