Charging with the 12 V DC Cable
Charging the unit in a parked car with the engine running is not allowed due to
environmental regulations. Charging the unit in a moving car is not allowed as
well, because such a device cannot be legally operated in a moving car.
1. Before charging from a car battery, make sure that the car battery is in
good condition and fully charged.
2. Set the ON/OFF switch (2) to OFF.
3. Connect the 12 V cable (11) to the charging socket (9) of the power pack
and the cigarette lighter socket of your car. The charging indicator LED
lights up.
4. A full charge can take, depending on the charging state of the battery, up
to 6 hours. After that, disconnect the power pack from the car's electric
system to avoid draining the car's battery.
