PIN Code Input

1. Press key switch (Fig. 1: 16). The LCD displays the following:
CKA4820 status: PIN code input
PIN code: xxxx|xxxx|xxxx
Only the numeric keypad (Fig. 1: 9) is enabled for entering the PIN code. The
LED flashes orange during the input.
2. Enter combination of numbers within 5 seconds (9). A maximum of 12 digits is
possible.
Two number combinations are factory-set: "0000" for the system administrator, "1111" for system
users. Only the administrator has access to certain menu functions.
3. Press key switch.
If the PIN code is valid, the unit changes to the LOGIN status. All keys are
enabled only in this status. The LCD displays the following:
CKA4820 status: ADMIN LOGIN
or
CKA4820 status: USER1 LOGIN
If the message "Cal" is additionally output on the LCD, the joystick is not calibrated. See Section 11 for
details.
In operating mode "Telemetry devices connected directly to control unit ", the LED
always lights up green. In mode "Control unit connected to SIMATRIX terminal/TTY
connection", the LED displays three possible statuses:
LED lights up green: connection is made to video matrix, and data packets are
being received.
LED flashes red: no connection made to video matrix.
LED lights up red: alarm signal from video matrix.
If an invalid PIN code is entered, the control unit changes to the LOGOFF status.
The LED is not lit.
