When a device or PC with an asynchronous interface is connected with the RS232 interface
of CC-2M, the 7XV5100-4 DIGSI cable can be used as connection cable.
The CC-2M supports the following communication protocol:

E1 - 2048 kBit/s

T1 - 1544 kBit/s
Note: Changeover to RS485 interface
If you want to connect a device or a PC with an asynchronous, serial interface to the RS232
interface of the CC-2M, you can use the DIGSI cable 7XV5100-4. Optionally, you can use
the serial interface of the CC-2M as an RS485 repeater. To do this, configure the factory-set
RS232 interface to RS485. You can find more information in the Commissioning chapter.
A contact output (relay contact, change over contact) generates a "device ready" signal
(GOK/DR). Only when a relay has picked up the device is ready for data communication.
The NC contact signals a fault. All operating states are signalled via LED. In Figure 19 and
Figure 20 the GOK contact is shown in the idle state and at a fault respectivily.
