Maintenance
Replacing the transmitter battery
See figure 8, page 5
NOTE
▶ Risk of damage!
Penetrating water or chemicals may
damage or destroy the monitoring
station. Only replace the battery in a dry
environment. Clean the monitoring station
dry before replacing the battery. If dirty,
clean the battery compartment seal and
check it for damage.
▷ Remove the cable tie and turn the transmit-
ter on its side by the top suspension.
▷ Open the battery compartment.
▷ Remove the battery and release the connec-
tor. To release the connector, press down on
the back of the hook.
▷ Insert the connector for the new battery into
the socket.
▷ Place the battery and the cable in the trans-
mitter. The cable should be underneath the
battery if possible (see figure 8, page 5).
▷ Close the battery compartment cover and
lock it carefully with the two screws.
▷ Secure the transmitter to the transmitter
bracket again.
▷ Hold the magnet against the recess on the
transmitter (see figure 4, page 3).
Cleaning
Remove any dirt from the monitoring station
using a suitable brush.
NOTE
▶ Risk of damage!
Penetrating water or chemicals may
damage or destroy the monitoring sta-
tion. Do not use chemicals or pressure
washers. Clean the monitoring station
using dry means only.

Decommissioning and storage
For the purpose of decommissioning, dis-
assemble the monitoring station; see
"Disassembly" on page 21.
Store the monitoring station in the storage
conditions set out in the technical data – see
"Technical data" on page 18.
Returning the device
The monitoring station is the property of
Bosch.IO GmbH.
The monitoring station cannot remain in your
possession after the end of the contract.
You must not dispose of the monitoring station.
This also applies to defective monitoring stati-
ons. You will receive further information from
Deepfield Connect about how to return the
device at the end of the contract.
According to the European
Guideline 2012/19/EU for Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equip-
ment, electric devices that are no
longer usable, and according to the
European Guideline 2006/66/EC,
defective or used battery packs/
batteries, must be collected
separately and disposed of in an
environmentally correct manner.
We reserve the right to make changes to the
design of the device in the interests of further
development.
